Uniweld’s Nitrogen Flow Indicator is a visual tool that confirms the flow of nitrogen gas through copper lines during the brazing process. Flowing nitrogen displaces oxygen, preventing oxidation and scale buildup inside the tubing that could otherwise contaminate the refrigerant. Active nitrogen flow is easily confirmed by the float ball in the indicator tube; if the ball fails to rise, static pressure is present and oxygen is not being properly displaced.
