Update from December 13, 2024: Due to the Canada Post strike and the holiday rush, all carriers are unfortunately experiencing delays in delivering shipments on-time. We apologize for this inconvenience, and appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. 

Update from November 19, 2024:  Canada Post Labour Disruption
Due to the disruption of Canada Post services (national strike), Canada Welding Supply will be using alternate carriers to process your orders. 

As a result, we will not be able to ship to customers with P.O. box addresses during this time. We request that all customers enter a direct shipping address at check out to avoid any delays. 

Orders currently in transit with Canada Post will unfortunately experience delays, and customers effected will be contacted directly. We will keep you updated as soon as we know more. We appreciate your understanding during this time. 

Free Shipping in Ontario

We’re excited to offer free shipping on eligible orders within Ontario — no minimum purchase required! Enjoy fast, free delivery right to your door.

Note: Oversized or heavy items (over 30lbs) and dangerous goods may have additional charges. Shipping method is at our discretion, and orders may be shipped in multiple packages for faster delivery.

International Shipping

We offer shipping to the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) and worldwide!

  • Shipping Costs & Restrictions: International orders are not eligible for free shipping. Orders will only be processed when all items are in stock. If you'd like, we can split your order (additional charges may apply).
  • Duties & Taxes: The recipient is responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees, which vary by location. Please contact your local customs office for more details. Duties are non-refundable in the event of a Return. 
  • Returns: International customers must cover return shipping costs, including for warranty returns.
Canada Welding Supply reserves the right to cancel orders shipped outside Canada and the U.S. and issue a full refund.

Shipping to PO Boxes

Canada Post handles deliveries to PO Boxes for items under 60lbs. For heavier items, we may contact you to arrange an alternative address. For faster delivery, we recommend using a street address.

Estimated Delivery Times

Processing Time: Orders with in-stock items are processed within 1-3 business days (excluding weekends). 

Estimated Delivery Times (after processing):
  • Greater Toronto Area: 1-2 business days
  • Rest of Ontario: 3-4 business days
  • Manitoba & West: 3-6 business days
  • Quebec & East: 3-6 business days
  • NWT & Yukon: 10-14 business days (not eligible for free shipping)

    Note: These are estimates and may vary due to factors like weather, courier delays, or busy periods. For peak seasons (e.g. Black Friday, Christmas), please allow extra time for processing.

    Expedited Delivery Options

    Need it fast? We offer Next Day and Saturday Delivery options through FedEx for an extra fee. Availability depends on your location.

    FedEx Express/Overnight options are available at checkout with estimated delivery times.

    Note: Expedited services require processing within 1 business day, but during high-volume periods, processing may take longer.

    Tracking Your Order

    Once your order ships, you’ll get an email with tracking details. Be sure to track your order for the latest updates. If you don’t see our emails, check your Spam or Promotions folder.

    Please note that estimated delivery times are approximate, and delivery times may be impacted due to unforeseen circumstances. Shipping charges are non-refundable once the service has been rendered.

    Delivery & Signature

    High-value orders may require a signature upon delivery. If you're unavailable, the courier will leave a notice for re-delivery or pickup. For orders that don't require a signature, the package will be left at your designated location.

    Customer Responsibility for Delivery

    You are responsible for tracking the delivery of your order, and ensuring someone is available to receive your package. If delivery fails, re-delivery fees may apply. If your package is held at a pick-up facility, you must retrieve it within the specified timeframe.

    Additional Shipping Fees

    Some items may have additional shipping fees due to size, weight, or special handling needs. If extra fees apply, our team will contact you before processing your order.

    • Overweight & Oversized Items: Products over 65lbs or oversized may incur extra charges.
    • Dangerous Goods: Items marked as dangerous will have a $125 non-refundable fee added to the checkout.
    • Remote Locations: Orders to remote areas may incur extra fees. We’ll notify you if this applies.

    Shipping Insurance (Order Protection)

    Order Protection is an optional shipping insurance available at checkout. This coverage protects your order in the event it is lost, stolen, or damaged during transit. If an issue arises after your order leaves our warehouse, Order Protection provides a hassle-free way to have your order replaced or refunded within days.

    • Important: Canada Welding Supply is not responsible for items lost or stolen after they are marked as delivered by the courier. To ensure your order is protected, we recommend selecting Order Protection at checkout.
    • Order Protection will be automatically added to your order during checkout. However, you may opt out by deselecting the checkbox on the shipping page before completing your purchase.
    • In the event of a delivery issue, customers must contact Canada Welding Supply directly to open a claim.

    Shipping Issues

    If you have any issues (lost package, delay, or damage), contact us immediately at support@canadaweldingsupply.ca or call 1-888-817-3344.

    Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses

    Canada Welding Supply is not responsible for issues caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses. Please double-check your address to avoid delays or returns. If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, you’ll be responsible for reshipping fees.

    Inspect Upon Delivery
    We recommend inspecting your package as soon as it arrives. If the item is damaged or if the packaging appears compromised, please contact us right away to resolve any issues quickly.

    Return Shipping Costs

    Customers are responsible for return shipping fees. If your return is due to our error (e.g., defective or incorrect items), we will cover those costs.

    If you received free shipping and are returning an item, the original shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
