Spend $189 or more (before taxes) and get free standard shipping anywhere in Canada!
Note: Some items, including heavy, oversized, or dangerous goods, may incur extra charges. We will notify you if this applies to your order.

International Shipping

We offer shipping to the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) and worldwide!

  • Shipping Costs & Restrictions: International orders are not eligible for free shipping. Orders will only be processed when all items are in stock. If you'd like, we can split your order (additional charges may apply).
  • Duties & Taxes: The recipient is responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees, which vary by location. Please contact your local customs office for more details. Duties are non-refundable in the event of a Return. 

    • ATTENTION United States Customers: The de minimis exemption, which previously allowed shipments valued at USD $800 or less to enter the United States without import duties, is no longer in effect.

    • All shipments entering the U.S., regardless of value, will now be subject to applicable import duties, taxes, and customs clearance requirements.

    • We recommend reviewing your upcoming shipments and factoring in potential import costs to avoid delays or unexpected charges.

    • Customers who abandon their shipment due to unpaid duties will be charged return shipping and restocking fees.

  • Returns: International customers must cover return shipping costs, including for warranty returns.

Canada Welding Supply reserves the right to cancel orders shipped outside Canada and the U.S. and issue a full refund.

Shipping to PO Boxes

Canada Post facilitates all deliveries to PO Boxes for items under 60lbs. Please be advised that if a PO Box is provided as the shipping address, your order will be fulfilled via Canada Post regardless of the carrier selected at checkout, as private couriers (such as FedEx or UPS) do not have access to the PO Box network.

If an Express or Expedited shipping method is selected for a PO Box address, we will utilize an equivalent Canada Post service (such as Xpresspost) when available. Should a comparable expedited service be unavailable, our team will contact you directly to arrange an alternative delivery address or shipping method.

For items over 60lbs, a physical street address is required for delivery. If a PO Box is provided for a heavy item, we will contact you to coordinate an alternative shipping location. To ensure the widest range of carrier options and the most efficient delivery times, we recommend providing a physical street address whenever possible.

Estimated Delivery Times

Processing Time: Orders with in-stock items are processed within 1-3 business days (excluding weekends). 

Estimated Delivery Times (after processing):

  • Greater Toronto Area: 1-2 business days
  • Rest of Ontario: 3-4 business days
  • Manitoba & West: 3-6 business days
  • Quebec & East: 3-6 business days
  • NWT & Yukon: 10-14 business days (not eligible for free shipping)

    Special Shipments: Heavy, oversized, palletized, freight/LTL, and dangerous goods shipments may require additional processing and transit time due to carrier scheduling, special handling, or transportation requirements.

    Note: Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to factors such as weather, courier delays, carrier availability, or busy periods. During peak seasons (e.g. Black Friday and Christmas), please allow additional time for processing.

    Expedited Delivery Options

    Need it fast? We offer Next Day and Saturday Delivery options through FedEx for an extra fee, depending on your location. FedEx Express/Overnight options are available at checkout with estimated delivery times.

    Processing Time: Expedited services require processing within 1 business day, though high-volume periods may require additional processing time.

    Carrier Holidays & Closures: Our shipping carriers may observe regional or statutory holidays that differ from Canada Welding Supply. When a carrier is closed, packages will not be picked up or moved through their network. Please account for carrier holiday schedules when placing time-sensitive orders.

    Tracking Your Order

    Once your order ships, you’ll get an email with tracking details. Be sure to track your order for the latest updates. If you don’t see our emails, check your Spam or Promotions folder.

    Please note that estimated delivery times are approximate, and delivery times may be impacted due to unforeseen circumstances. Shipping charges are non-refundable once the service has been rendered.

    Delivery & Signature

    High-value orders may require a signature upon delivery. If you're unavailable, the courier will leave a notice for re-delivery or pickup. For orders that don't require a signature, the package will be left at your designated location.

    Customer Responsibility for Delivery

    You are responsible for tracking the delivery of your order, and ensuring someone is available to receive your package. If delivery fails, re-delivery fees may apply. If your package is held at a pick-up facility, you must retrieve it within the specified timeframe.

    Additional Shipping Fees

    Select items incur additional fees for size, weight, hazardous materials, or remote destinations to cover carrier surcharges and specialized handling. These fees do not expedite shipping. Due to the extra logistics required, these items typically exceed standard transit estimates.

    • Freight Adjustments: Freight quotes provided at checkout or on sales orders are estimates and subject to final carrier confirmation. Any necessary freight rate adjustments will be presented to the customer for approval prior to order processing.
    • Overweight & Oversized Items: Heavy or bulk items (such as large equipment or bulk wire spools) incur carrier oversized surcharges and may require additional transit time due to special logistics scheduling.
    • Dangerous Goods: Items classified as dangerous goods incur a non-refundable $125 fee at checkout to cover mandatory regulatory compliance and hazmat carrier surcharges.
    • Remote Locations: Deliveries to remote or limited-access locations are subject to carrier regional surcharges. Customers will be notified of any additional charges prior to fulfillment.

    Shipping Insurance (Order Protection)

    Order Protection is an optional shipping insurance available at checkout. This coverage protects your order in the event it is lost, stolen, or damaged during transit. If an issue arises after your order leaves our warehouse, Order Protection provides a hassle-free way to have your order replaced or refunded within days.

    • Important: Canada Welding Supply is not responsible for items lost or stolen after they are marked as delivered by the courier. To ensure your order is protected, we recommend selecting Order Protection at checkout.
    • Order Protection will be automatically added to your order during checkout. However, you may opt out by deselecting the checkbox on the shipping page before completing your purchase.
    • In the event of a delivery issue, customers must contact Canada Welding Supply directly to open a claim.

    Shipping Issues

    Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses

    Canada Welding Supply is not responsible for issues caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses. Please double-check your address to avoid delays or returns. If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, you’ll be responsible for reshipping fees.

    Inspect Upon Delivery
    We recommend inspecting your package as soon as it arrives. If the item is damaged or if the packaging appears compromised, please contact us right away to resolve any issues quickly.

    Return Shipping Costs

    Customers are responsible for return shipping fees. If your return is due to our error (e.g., defective or incorrect items), we will cover those costs.

    If you received free shipping and are returning an item, the original shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
