The EWR 2 systems use a patented function with fast-acting solenoid valves to electronically regulate the gas flow in real-time and in synchronization with the welding current. External factors such as changes in ambient temperatures or counter pressures from the connected cable assembly are safely compensated to guarantee gas savings and control gas flow more precisely than other gas control systems.
A dynamic first of it's kind software package also allows the EWR 2 Net to interface into a company's existing Local Area Network (LAN) to collect and monitor gas use while making adjustments in real time, or hardwire into the device with a jack. All EWRs are equipped with an integrated LED display that allows for an easy overview of the current status and the system parameters. Settings can be done directly with the arrow buttons.
Please note the price listed is for the 514.0252.1 EWR 2 Base Unit. Please contact our sales team to spec the system out for your application. Please email sales@canadaweldingsupply.ca or call 888-817-3344
EWR 2 Features and Benefits:
The unique Service Monitoring Software with EWR 2 lets you control the hardware from your laptop - even remotely with the Net version. Monitor gas use, track ROI, and make adjustments on the fly to optimize gas delivery.
Within the EWR 2 Service Software, you can get easy to read and export graph readings of your Gas Use against your Parameters. Measure gas use with a part, a run, or a whole shift to see where gaps may lie to maximize savings.
EWR 2 can be used in Robotic, Manual, or Hard Automation welding applications in either MIG or TIG processes. Simply use the correct shunt against your welding parameters to allow EWR 2 to deliver the right amount of gas.
The EWR 2 (Electronic Welding Regulator) is a device which controls the flow of shielding gas for arc welding processes. The combination of supply, distribution of gas flow based on welding current, surge suppression, and quick responding valve for shut off enables large scale reduction in gas usage compared to other gas monitoring technologies in the marketplace. The Abicor Binzel Electronic Welding Gas Monitoring & Saving System will result in up to 60% Gas Savings with IoT Compatibility
