Soudotec 275 Galvanized Steel Welding Electrodes

 

A high-recovery (160%) and high-strength electrode designed for welding high alloy steels, galvanized steels, and all types of unknown steels. Ideal for dissimilar assemblies and as a cushion before hard-facing high alloy steels.

Typical Applications

Ideal for maintenance and repair work on:

Welding Procedure

  • Surface Preparation: Remove any traces of oil, grease, and dirt.
  • Damaged Metal Removal: Use Soudotec 212 SP or Soudotec G12 electrode to remove damaged metal.
  • Welding Technique: Maintain a short arc during welding.
  • Slag Removal: Clean slag between each welding pass.
  • Preheating: For some high alloy steels, preheating is recommended.
