The 3M™ Speedglas™ G5-03 Pro Welding Helmet uses next-generation technology to help provide dynamic welding protection. Intuitively designed for the challenges faced on the job, this helmet setup includes a haptic tapping function to activate grind or cut mode.
With the G5VC ADF, the welder can leverage variable color technology to view the weld while in dark state through either warm, cool, or natural color tones as different applications, lighting, and materials, may warrant different colors and contrasts.
With the G5TW ADF, there is a tack welding mode that uses an intermediate shade 5 light state to help minimize eye strain during tack welding applications. If an arc is not struck within 2 seconds, the welding filter will switch back to the normal light state of shade 2.5.
