Nickel 99 stick welding (SMAW) electrodes

Tech-Rod® offers a wide variety of nickel alloy grades of stick electrodes lot tested with certificates of actual deposit chemistry and typical mechanical results. 

Top Features

  • Used for welding of cast irons to other cast irons as well as for joining cast irons to mild steels and stainless steels
  • A preheat and inter-pass temperature of not less than 350°F is required during welding to prevent cracking
  • Q2 Lot® - certificates showing actual deposit composition available online

Typical Applications

  • Joining and repair of cast irons
  • Provides a more machinable deposit than Nickel 55 electrodes
